How to make minecraft animations

I'm sure everyone has seen a minecraft animation like captain sparklez "revenge" or another animation where the characters are doing things that you cant do in the game like flips, and they can smile and other things. Most of them use "blender a program for 3D computer animation." I wont be able to write down a tutorial because it will take way too long. But go onto youtube and check out some videos.
